About Us

Robin Hall Opticians is a long-established practice. It was run by several generations of the Hall family as a jewellers and opticians. It was situated on the Bolton Road until 1969. Then Joseph Hall and his son Robin moved the practice to its current location in Bridgewater Road. Rachel was lucky enough to be allowed to take over the practice in 2001.

Before becoming an optician’s practice the current premises had had a number of uses. These included being a post office and a laundry.

Robin, though retired, continues to maintain an interest in his former patients. Rachel values his friendship and thoughtful advice.
